Sponsorship

All of CSIF’s programming offers sponsors with a great variety of promotional opportunities. The $100 Film Festival is actively promoted through local print, radio and television media. Audience members come from all walks of life: students, artists, teachers, professors, film industry and corporate professionals, and the self-employed. The audience is engaged in the festival and actively participates during the viewings.

The Festival is a non-profit event and relies solely on ticket sales and sponsorship for funding. As a registered charitable organization CSIF does not charge filmmaker submission fees and pays each filmmaker a screening fee for showing their work. This has allowed the Festival to remain very accessible, especially to new filmmakers.

By supporting the Festival, sponsors help to further the exhibition of independent film and cultural initiatives in Calgary. You will directly benefit by reaching the culturally savvy audience through advertising in the Festival’s program and website, CSIF’s quarterly newsletter, logos on print materials, and physically at the screenings themselves.

We are a non-profit, charitable organization and your donation will help to make the festival even better!  Funds go towards paying artists for their films and for artist talks/ presentations, creating critical writing, printing publications and posters, promotions, venue rental & other event costs as well as subsidizing any workshops that we might run.  You can include a note in the donation that suggests where you would like to see your donation applied to (you are also welcome to donate to regular CSIF activities like equipment acquisitions, Aboriginal bursaries, the FISH Fund Filmmakers' Incentive Grant) and other programming.
